MAVIS 350 or AEROSENSA 10: compare real Australian shuttle offers
Compare a six-shuttle MAVIS 350 Medium offer at A$22.95 with twelve AS-10 Speed 4 shuttles at A$60. Check material, speed and pack quantities.

1. Match the session before comparing the price
Choose the shuttle type your club or session accepts first. The two actual Australian offers checked on 30 October 2026 are Yonex MAVIS 350 Medium in Yellow, six shuttles for A$22.95 at Wiz Sports, and Yonex AEROSENSA 10 Speed 4, twelve shuttles for A$60.00 at GA Sports Australia. The first has a nylon skirt; the second is a feather shuttle. A cheaper nylon item amount does not make it a substitute when a session requires feathers.
For practice where nylon is accepted, the MAVIS offer is a concrete option with its colour, speed and six-piece supply specified. For a feather session, the AS-10 offer specifies Speed 4 and a twelve-piece tube. Those are different constructions and speed systems, rather than two interchangeable versions of the same ball. No flight, impact, durability or replacement-rate testing was performed for this guide. The three real photographs are separate construction examples; none is presented as a photograph of either current retail order.

2. Keep the exact colour, tube size and seller attached
The quoted MAVIS option is Yellow, not the White option on the same page. Yellow was listed as available in the checked product data, while White was not. The retailer explicitly describes a tube of six. The selected GA Sports option is one box of twelve AS-10 shuttles, not its ten-box alternative. Its item price was A$60.00 in the Australian currency and country setting. Availability was shown when checked; a live order still needs confirmation.
The manufacturer independently specifies six MAVIS 350 shuttles per tube and twelve AEROSENSA 10 shuttles per tube. Here the two retailers also specify those supplied quantities. An older or lower-priced listing that leaves the package or speed unclear is not treated as the same confirmed offer. Neither comparison includes an address-specific shipping quote or a completed checkout.
| Condition | MAVIS 350 | AEROSENSA 10 |
|---|---|---|
| Seller | Wiz Sports | GA Sports Australia |
| Chosen option | Medium / Yellow | Speed 4 / 1 Box of 12 |
| Material | Nylon skirt; natural cork base | Feather shuttle |
| Supplied quantity | 6 shuttles | 12 shuttles |
| Observed item amount | A$22.95 | A$60.00 |
| Order availability | Yellow listed available; White not | Selected 12-piece option listed available |
| Shipping | Confirm at checkout | Calculated at checkout |
3. A blue cap is not the same unit as a feather grade
Yonex identifies MAVIS 350 blue-cap Medium for 12-23 degrees C. Its other cap options are green Slow for 22-33 degrees C and red Fast for 0-13 degrees C. These cap options explain the nylon range; they do not mean that every colour and speed is available in the selected retailer offer. The yellow skirt colour and blue speed band are also different things.
For AEROSENSA, Yonex publishes numbered temperature grades. Grade 4 is listed for 17-23 degrees C, while Grade 3 is listed for 22-28 degrees C. The checked GA Sports product is specifically Speed 4. Its temperature range overlaps the blue-cap MAVIS range, but that does not establish identical flight or a universal conversion between the two systems. Yonex also warns that altitude affects performance. Ask the session organiser which construction and grade are in use, then check the exact tube label. A generic photograph or the word medium cannot settle that choice.
| Speed marking | Published temperature range | Included in this comparison |
|---|---|---|
| MAVIS blue cap / Medium | 12-23 degrees C | Selected Yellow six-pack |
| AEROSENSA grade 4 | 17-23 degrees C | Selected AS-10 twelve-pack |
| AEROSENSA grade 3 | 22-28 degrees C | Reference only; not the selected offer |

4. Compare twelve with twelve, then keep lifespan separate
Dividing the confirmed item amounts by the supplied counts gives approximately A$3.83 per MAVIS shuttle and A$5.00 per AS-10 shuttle, before delivery. For twelve shuttles, two six-piece MAVIS tubes would have an item subtotal of A$45.90, compared with A$60.00 for one twelve-piece AS-10 tube: an A$14.10 item difference. These are transparent calculations from the checked offers, not a guarantee that two tubes are currently available or a combined delivered quote from two different shops.
Price per shuttle is not cost per game. The number of replacements depends on play, condition and the session requirements; no usable-life measurements were made here. Do not divide either price by an invented number of matches or turn manufacturer marketing into a measured saving. Compare the final shipping-inclusive order only after the correct material, speed and quantity are selected.
5. Confirm the tube, inspect the skirt and store it correctly
Before payment, check the exact model, selected colour or grade, supplied quantity, current availability and currency in the order line. Keep AUD selected on the Australian offer; a regional storefront can display another currency. Optional services and delivery are not assumed to cost zero. If the session uses a different feather grade, select and quote that actual variant rather than treating this Speed 4 amount as a price for every AS-10 option.
Use the real construction photographs to distinguish a moulded nylon skirt from separately attached feathers and to see why physical condition needs inspection. They do not identify the current offers or certify any shuttle as suitable for play. The separate AS-20 example is identified by its original file description and is not an AS-10 package or speed reading. The checked AS-10 seller guidance on shuttlecocks.com.au advises keeping the tube upright with corks facing down and away from heat and daylight. Follow the actual supplied tube instructions and your organiser’s selection procedure; no home modification or untested conditioning method is recommended.
