Wilson Team 3 or 6 Pack: choose space for the whole tennis kit
Compare the actual Navy Team 3 Pack and Oats Team 6 Pack: Australian item prices, exterior dimensions, compartments and the limits of the stated racket count.
Updated:

1. Choose the kit first, then the advertised racket count
The Wilson Team 3 Pack is the narrower option for a smaller load; the Team 6 Pack has two main racket compartments and a larger published middle dimension for carrying more equipment. The actual Australian variants checked on 30 October 2026 were Navy Team 3 Pack at A$109.95 and Oats Team 6 Pack at A$129.00. The A$19.05 item difference buys a different bag configuration and colour, rather than a guaranteed amount of usable interior space.
Choose the three-pack when its documented size and your complete load suit a lighter session. Consider the six-pack when you need its extra compartment or more room, but check the actual contents and carrying arrangement before treating it as a solution. We have not packed or measured either current bag. The real photographs show separate bag and kit examples; none is a verified photograph of the current Navy or Oats offer.
2. Keep colour, SKU and dimensions attached to the offer
The selected three-pack is Navy, SKU WR8039801001. The selected six-pack is Oats, SKU WR8039903001, even though its page address ends in grey. The observed product data identifies the actual variant; an address or collection tile is not a reason to relabel its colour. These are not a matched-colour pair, and this comparison does not isolate capacity as the sole cause of the price difference.
Wilson publishes 76.2 × 10.16 × 33.02 cm for the three-pack and 76.2 × 24.13 × 33.02 cm for the six-pack. The first and last listed dimensions match; the middle dimension is 13.97 cm larger on the six-pack. Those are manufacturer exterior dimensions, not our measurements. Multiplying them would not establish usable internal litres or the clearance required for packed contents.

3. Count the actual load rather than assuming everything fits
The up-to-three and up-to-six descriptions are manufacturer capacity claims. They do not guarantee that the maximum racket count plus shoes, a change of clothing, towels, balls and a bottle all fit together. Make an inventory of what you actually carry, including any separate racket covers. The independent photograph of two rackets, three balls and a HEAD cover demonstrates such an inventory; it does not show those items inside either compared bag.
Both current descriptions mention extra gear and an outer zipped pocket for balls, grips and personal items. That wording does not establish a dedicated ventilated shoe compartment, thermal lining, waterproof protection or a fitted bottle holder. Do not infer those features from a generic bag photograph or from the word six. If one of them is essential, confirm it on the selected model before ordering.
| Your actual load | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Rackets with individual covers | The covered frames fit the actual opening and compartment |
| Shoes and spare clothing | Space remains after the racket load; do not assume a separate shoe compartment |
| Bottle, balls and grips | Their own space and secure placement, beyond the maximum racket claim |
| Car, locker or cupboard | The loaded bag and handles fit the real storage position |

4. Check the opening, carrying arrangement and storage position
The three-pack description provides a top grab handle and padded shoulder strap; the six-pack describes a top grab handle and adjustable shoulder straps. Check the current supplied arrangement and whether it suits the route you actually take. The older orange Wilson bag photograph shows real handles, straps and zipped openings to identify physically, but it is not either current Team model and provides no measured capacity.
A separate 2012 Team GB sports-bag photograph shows a bottle and carrying handles clearly. Its direct purpose here is to make the non-racket load and transport arrangement visible. It is not identified as a current Wilson racket bag, an Australian offer or proof that either Team model has the same bottle storage. Try the real full load and check that zips close normally; exterior dimensions alone cannot confirm the packed shape.

5. Compare the complete order after the fit questions are answered
Before payment, confirm the exact Navy or Oats variant, SKU, current item amount, availability and delivery charge for your address. The public variant field showed availability when checked; it is not a delivery promise or a completed checkout. Delivery and any other compulsory separate charge are not assumed to be zero. Compare the final order amount after confirming the required equipment and features.
If the narrower three-pack accommodates your real kit and transport needs, its smaller purchase amount is meaningful. If you need the second compartment and the larger middle dimension, assess the actual six-pack rather than substituting its racket-count claim for a packing check. Keep the current product description with your order so the supplied colour, storage arrangement and carrying features can be checked on arrival.
